Itinerary:
1) Introduction to Chocolate: 30 minutes
- History of chocolate.
- Cacao in India.
- Process of Chocolate making.
2) Chocolate Factory Tour: 20 minutes
- Bean Storage - See, touch, smell cocoa beans from different regions of India.
- Roasting - The process of roasting cocoa beans to develop their flavour profile. Comparison between roasted and unroasted beans.
- Cracking/ Winnowing - Cracking open cocoa beans and separating the useful nibs from the husk/shell of the bean.
- Conching and Grinding - A show of how cocoa nibs, sugar & cocoa butter are ground to make liquid chocolate.
- Tempering: The guests get to see and understand how chocolate is tempered as a large batch of chocolate is tempered in front of them.
3) Chocolate Tasting: 30 minutes
- A chocolate tasting session will be carried out for the guests.
- A total of 6 samples will be included in the session
4) Q&A: 20 minutes
- Ask questions- satiate your curiosity. Ask the experts
- Charcuterie board- Relish some nibbles alongside in-house spreads
