Itinerary:

1) Introduction to Chocolate: 30 minutes
  • History of chocolate.
  • Cacao in India.
  • Process of Chocolate making.
2) Chocolate Factory Tour: 20 minutes
  • Bean Storage - See, touch, smell cocoa beans from different regions of India.
  • Roasting - The process of roasting cocoa beans to develop their flavour profile.  Comparison between roasted and unroasted beans.
  • Cracking/ Winnowing - Cracking open cocoa beans and separating the useful nibs from the husk/shell of the bean.
  • Conching and Grinding - A show of how cocoa nibs, sugar & cocoa butter are ground to make liquid chocolate.
  • Tempering: The guests get to see and understand how chocolate is tempered as a large batch of chocolate is tempered in front of them.
3) Chocolate Tasting: 30 minutes
  • A chocolate tasting session will be carried out for the guests. 
  • A total of 6 samples will be included in the session
4) Q&A: 20 minutes
  • Ask questions- satiate your curiosity. Ask the experts 
  • Charcuterie board- Relish some nibbles alongside in-house spreads

    It was a great experience!!

    The aroma of chocolates that hit me as soon as I stepped into the factory had me entranced. The session started with an informative history of origin of chocolates, followed by an interactive tour inside the facility showcasing how they make their chocolates from cacao beans. We even got to temper our own chocolates! then we were escorted for a tasting session with some yummy hot chocolate. Thank you so much for making this a fun day! Shall bring my friends over next time!!
